Machine and installation vibration monitoring systems are utilised for condition-based maintenance. They aid in the early detection of machine damage and the avoidance of costly secondary damage.
Vibration transmitters, vibration sensors, accelerometers, and evaluation electronics are all available from ifm. Damaged bearings and unbalance in drives and rotating machine parts are detected by vibration transmitters and sensors. Accelerometers, when used in conjunction with diagnostic electronics, provide for complete vibration monitoring of big drives.
