The Mitutoyo Digimatic pointed digital micrometre has a 15-degree pointed anvil and spline to accurately measure narrow grooves on components or workpieces, as well as keyways and web thicknesses on drills. The pointed anvil and spindle contacts are great for measuring small, difficult-to-reach places that a standard or reduced-diameter spindle and anvil can't reach. For exact, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism applies homogeneous pressure to a workpiece. The results of the measurements are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD display.
