Flue Gas Analysers can detect a wide variety of gases as well as calculate the concentrations of each element present. Flue gas contains a variety of constituents including harmless gases such as Nitrogen, Oxygen and water vapour. Carbon Monoxide, Sulpher dioxide and Nitrogen oxides are far more dangerous chemicals. All of these elements when exposed for an extended period of time can cause severe illness and even death. In addition to providing detailed analysis of flue gas components most flue gas analysers can also function as pressure and flow meters. These versatile are all that an engineer will need to perform the majority of the tests required of a domestic system.
