This bore gauge set produces a wide range of precise internal dimension measurements at a low cost.The Borematic bore gauge has a big LCD display that rotates 330 degrees for easy reading and a precision-balanced spring that easily retracts the anvils when pressed. The instrument's measuring contact points are coated with titanium nitride (TiN), which give great durability and impact resistance and allow it to measure to the bottom of a blind hole. Once the origin point is set with the ORIGIN button on the ABSOLUTE encoder, the Borematic remembers the setting for the duration of the battery life. It is no longer necessary to repeat the origin setting (presetting).
