Product Overview
The Hioki CM4371 is a 600 A AC/DC True RMS clamp meter designed for electrical, HVAC, solar and general maintenance applications. Its 33 mm jaw allows current measurements without disconnecting conductors, making it suitable for troubleshooting electrical panels, motors and equipment.
The meter measures 20 A and 600 A AC/DC and measures AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V. With the optional P2010, DC voltage measurement can extend to 2000 V. The CM4371 also provides resistance, capacitance, continuity and diode testing, along with inrush current, DC power and MAX/MIN/AVG/PEAK functions.
True RMS measurement helps provide accurate readings when working with distorted electrical waveforms commonly produced by variable-frequency drives, LED lighting and switching power supplies. A low-pass filter and auto-hold functions further support electrical troubleshooting.
The CM4371 has a basic accuracy of ±1.3% according to Hioki data. Its safety rating is CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V, increasing to CAT III 2000 V with the optional P2010. The IP54 enclosure provides dust and splash resistance for field use.
Bluetooth® connectivity is available by adding the optional Z3210 Wireless Adapter. When paired with GENNECT Cross, compatible measurements can be transferred wirelessly to iOS or Android devices for logging and reporting. On compatible CM4370 series instruments, the app also supports harmonic analysis through the 30th order.
