The Hioki CM4371-50 is a 600 A AC/DC True RMS clamp meter designed for electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and field measurement. The CM4371-50 measures 20 A and 600 A AC/DC and provides voltage measurement up to 1000 V AC/DC. With the optional P2010 test probe, DC voltage measurement can extend to 2000 V. The 20 A range provides finer measurement capability for smaller AC/DC loads, while the 600 A range is suitable for higher-current applications such as distribution boards and motor feeders.
True RMS measurement helps provide accurate AC readings when working with distorted waveforms generated by variable-speed drives, LED lighting and switching power supplies. In addition to current and voltage measurement, the CM4371-50 supports resistance, capacitance, continuity and diode testing, as well as inrush current and DC power measurement.
Additional functions include MAX/MIN/AVG/PEAK measurement, a low-pass filter and auto hold. This combination allows one instrument to cover a broad range of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
The meter has a 33 mm jaw suitable for many common conductors and is rated CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V. With the optional P2010, the applicable DC voltage safety rating extends to CAT III 2000 V. The CM4371-50 is also IP54 dust and splash resistant.
For wireless measurement data management, the optional Z3210 Wireless Adapter makes the CM4371-50 Bluetooth®-ready. When used with the GENNECT Cross app on iOS or Android, compatible measurements can be transferred for wireless logging and reporting. On the CM4370 series, GENNECT Cross can also support harmonic analysis through the 30th order.
