PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Mitutoyo 293-667-20 QuickMike is a metric digital outside micrometer designed for measuring components from 25 to 55 mm. Its wider-than-standard range covers the important 50 mm crossover, allowing one micrometer to handle parts that may otherwise require two different measuring ranges.
The QuickMike spindle advances 10 mm per thimble rotation, allowing the complete 30 mm measuring span to be covered in approximately three rotations. The ratchet friction thimble provides a controlled measuring force of 5–12 N for consistent contact with the workpiece.
The micrometer uses a 0.001 mm resolution and provides ±2 µm instrumental accuracy. Its carbide-tipped measuring faces have a micro-lap finish, while the 6.35 mm diameter non-rotating spindle is designed for stable outside-dimension measurement.
The Digimatic ABSOLUTE linear scale retains the established origin after power-off, reducing the need for repeated zero-setting. The LCD uses 10 mm-high characters for easy reading, while inch/metric functionality is not applicable to this metric-only model.
