The Rubert 561 is an electroformed nickel precision reference specimen with a pyramidal frustum structure, used for checking and calibrating surface measuring instruments. Its parameters are RSm = 25 µm, Pt = 1.6 µm. Note that in-house UKAS calibration is not available for the 3D areal specimens 561–564. It is offered in two versions: 561E, with a hard nickel-boron top layer, and 561X, without a top layer.
