Part number VGM-HC is the AlphaLab Model VGM vector/magnitude gaussmeter supplied with a hard carry case. Its three-axis probe reports the field magnitude independently of how the probe is held, which the manufacturer says speeds up residual magnetism checks roughly tenfold compared with a single-axis meter. The range of ±799.99 G is aimed at magnetised parts and MRI fringe fields rather than permanent magnet surfaces.
