The Palmer Wahl 1770M series are pocket-sized Heat-Prober meters for Type S thermocouples, reading 25 to 1770°C and displaying in °C only. They accept any Type S probe with an ANSI mini-connector, update three times per second and resolve 1°C with an accuracy of ±0.2% of reading ±1 digit. This meter is the one used in Palmer Wahl TC840 series dipstick thermometers.
