The Micronics UF AV5500 calculates flow in open channels and partially filled or surcharged pipes by measuring both velocity and level with a single submerged ultrasonic sensor, so no flume or weir is needed. It handles round, rectangular, trapezoid, egg and custom channel shapes, and works with water levels from 25.4 mm to 4.5 m. Typical uses include wastewater, stormwater, industrial effluent, combined sewers, natural streams and irrigation water.
