The Micronics Portaflow 333 is a portable clamp-on meter that measures both liquid flow and hydronic heat/energy. Flow is measured from outside the pipe by a cross-correlation transit-time ultrasonic method, while clamp-on PT100 Class B 4-wire sensors read flow and return temperatures; energy rate and totalised energy are calculated to comply with EN1434 section 6. It suits HVAC and energy system audits, boiler testing, balancing and checking installed meters on hot or chilled water.
