The Micronics Portaflow 222 is a portable clamp-on flow meter for measuring liquid flow in closed pipes from the outside, using a cross-correlation transit-time ultrasonic method with Reynolds number correction. It can be supplied with 'A' transducers for 13–115 mm OD pipes, 'B' transducers for larger pipes, or both. Typical uses include HVAC and flow system surveys, checking installed meters, pump verification, boiler testing and leak detection.
