The Dwyer AP1 is a thermo-anemometer air velocity and temperature probe with a coiled cable and 8-inch (203 mm) insertion depth. Designed for use with compatible Dwyer thermo-anemometers, it provides air velocity and temperature measurements for HVAC testing, duct traverses, air balancing and commissioning applications.
The AP1 measures air velocity from 45 to 6000 FPM (0.23-30 m/s) with ±3% of full-scale accuracy within the specified 4-32°C (40-90°F) range. It also measures air temperature from -40 to 100°C (-40 to 212°F) with ±0.5°F (±0.28°C) accuracy.
With a response time of approximately 1 second, the probe supports efficient point-by-point measurements during duct traverses and balancing work. Its 8-inch insertion length provides access to suitable measurement locations within standard ductwork, while the coiled cable allows flexible positioning during field measurements.
