With the Model 471B Digital Thermo Anemometer, you can measure air temperature in either metric or imperial measures, along with volumetric flow or air velocity, quickly and conveniently. The two specified readings are displayed concurrently on a high contrast LCD panel. Excellent visibility in low light is made possible with the convenient lighting. To save battery life, the light automatically turns off after two and a half minutes. There is a low battery alert. The insertion depth markings on the stainless steel probe, which has a comfortable hand grip, range from 0 to 8 inches and 0 to 20 centimeters. Even while collecting numerous readings as part of duct traverses, the lightweight, comfortable-to-hold extruded aluminum casing completely shields electronics. It is possible to store up to 99 readings for subsequent retrieval. When not in use, sensors are protected by an integrated sliding cover.
