Brannan 10/457/5 is a BS 718:1960 specific gravity hydrometer from the S60/60F M50 SP sub-series, covering 0.95 to 1.00 S60/60F for liquids of low surface tension. The sub-series is more accurate than the standard M50 series, with a 0.050 range span, 0.001 S60/60F divisions and adjustment at 60/60 °F. It is commonly used in the petroleum industry and corresponds to IP 160; BS 718:1960 is generally aligned with ISO 387 and ISO 650.
