Brannan 10/468/5 is a BS 718:1960 S60/60F L50 SP specific gravity hydrometer covering 1.00 to 1.05 S60/60F, for liquids of low surface tension. Each 335 mm instrument spans 0.050 with 0.0005 divisions and 0.0003 accuracy, higher than the standard L50 series, and is adjusted at 60/60 °F. The sub-series is commonly used in the petroleum industry and corresponds to IP 160; BS 718 is generally aligned with ISO 650.
