The Brannan 10/258/0 is a Brix hydrometer reading 20 to 40 Brix, used to measure the percentage of sugar in wine production. Readings on the 10/258/0 are divided in steps of 0.2 and accurate to ±0.4. Adjusted at 60 °F for 55 mN/m surface tension, the 10/258/0 reads on a Brix scale that matches Balling and Plato.
