Brannan 44/522/0 is a breaksafe PVC coated laboratory thermometer reading -1 to +51 °C in 0.2 °C divisions, 405 mm long for 76 mm partial immersion, with an accuracy of ±1.0 °C at 35 °C. Part of the LAB025 range, it is coated in PVC to contain glass and filling if it breaks, a lower cost alternative to FEP coated thermometers. The glass tube holds Brannan's mercury-free LO-tox filling.
