Designed for cylindrically ground diameters, the Rubert 116 belongs to the heavy-duty Series 100 range built for the workshop floor. It provides 8 reference patches spanning Ra 0.025–3.2 µm (1–125 µin), roughness grades N1–N8. Machinists and inspectors use it to compare a cylindrical grinding finish directly against known roughness values. A lightweight Microsurf equivalent (316) is offered for office and design use.
