The 302 platinum RTD probe is built for air and gas temperatures in ovens, stacks and ducts. Its 0.375 in tip carries a 2 in perforated sensor shield that encourages good air velocity over the sensor and prevents radiation errors. The 6.625 in stainless shank covers -40 to 600°F.
