The Palmer Wahl 1050 Series (1050_Dial) is a filled-system dial thermometer with a 5 in dial, rigid stem and 1/2 in NPT fixed fitting. With a 3/16 in stem and 1/4 in bulb it is interchangeable with a bimetal thermometer type thermowell of 0.260 in bore, and it is used in power plants, chemical processing, breweries and similar applications. A double wound direct drive Bourdon coil turns the pointer without a sector and pinion movement, reducing wear-related inaccuracy.
