The HIOKI FT3700-20 is a non-contact infrared thermometer covering -60.0 °C to 550.0 °C with a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio. It reads the infrared energy given off by a surface to work out its temperature without touching it.

- Accuracy ±2 °C from 0.0 to 100.0 °C and ±2% rdg from 100.1 to 500.0 °C
- Two-beam red laser marker (max 1 mW, Class 2) for aiming

- 1 s response time (90% response)
- Up to 140 h continuous use on two LR03 (AAA) batteries with laser, backlight and buzzer off
