The OPTEX FA ZR-M550CN4 is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor in a SUS316L stainless-steel housing, with NPN output, an M8 4-pin connector and a sensing distance of 0.01 to 5.5 m. OPTEX FA aims the ZR-M550CN4 and the rest of the Z-M Series at automotive lines, machine tools and food processing, where water, oil and coolant are present. For the ZR-M550CN4, the quoted range is measured with the V-61 reflector, and a 4 element red LED keeps light output loss over time low.
