Product Description

The Mitutoyo 568-930 is designed for inspection work where one digital bore gauge needs to cover multiple bore sizes from 1–2" (25.4–50.8 mm). Instead of using a separate display unit for every size range, this interchangeable head set combines one 568-015 ABSOLUTE display unit with three measuring heads covering 1–1.2", 1.2–1.6", and 1.6–2".

The three-point self-centering measuring method helps position the head consistently inside the bore for internal diameter inspection. The TiN-coated contact points are designed to withstand repeated measurement and can reach close to the bottom of blind holes.

The gauge provides .00005" (0.001 mm) resolution and uses an electrostatic capacitance ABSOLUTE encoder. The ABSOLUTE system helps retain the origin position without requiring repeated zero-setting after normal battery replacement. The 8.5 mm LCD can rotate through 330°, while inch/metric switching supports different inspection requirements.
