Matherne Power Tong Torque System | 6 in Dial, up to 120,000 ft-lb
The Matherne power tong system shows the torque applied to each joint while running pipe or casing, helping crews make up the string uniformly and reduce drill collar and tool joint failures caused by poor make-up. A system comprises a 6 in tong torque indicator with bracket, a standard 5 ft hose and a tension or compression load cell. Standard capacities reach 120,000 ft-lb.
