Matherne Electric Rotary Torque (ERT) System | Clamp-On Current Transducer
The Matherne Electric Rotary Torque (ERT) System indicates rotary torque on electric rigs by measuring the current drawn by the rotary table motor. A current transducer clamps around the DC power cable to the motor, with no shunts or direct electrical connections, and passes its signal to a signal conditioner that drives the meter. Each system includes the current transducer and signal conditioner; an amp meter and an E/P transducer are also offered.
