The Mark-10 G1031 is a 5 in extension rod with a 5/16-18 thread, the longest 5/16-18 rod in the range. It fits between 5/16-18 force gauges, sensors, grips and attachments to add reach in a test setup. Mark-10 does not recommend the G1031 for compression, because misalignment under load could buckle the rod and damage the force sensor.
