Pitch 3½ is the size covered by the T144T, a Gagemaker truncated contact point for pitch diameter checks on 29° Acme, Stub ACME, Stub ACME Modified-1 and Stub ACME Modified-2 threads in machined parts. Most gauges need two T144T points. Select the T144T when the Acme-type thread being checked has a pitch of 3½.
