Flexbar 17001 is the Style 1 Electrical Interlocking Mounting Bracket, mounted at the back of the lathe and suitable for all shield sizes. It replaces the existing bracket on Flexbar Latheguards or Small Chuckguards so the machine cannot be started unless the guard is down. Once wired to the motor starter, a cam-operated limit switch opens when the shield is tilted up and the lathe stops.
