The Thermapen® Pro-Surface (231-279) is a surface thermometer for grills and hotplates. A pivoting probe and swivel head help the type K sensor make good contact with the surface, and it can be used one-handed. It measures -49.9 to 299.9 °C with ±0.4 °C accuracy and 0.1° resolution, and is supplied with a protective pouch (830-001) and a traceable calibration certificate.
