Product Overview
The Dwyer SAV-STF3-NO is a 2" NPT female, normally open pneumatic angle seat valve designed for controlling compatible gases, liquids and steam in process and industrial applications. It uses a single-acting pneumatic piston actuator with spring return and a 3-9/16" actuator diameter.
The valve body, plug and stem are manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel, with a PTFE seat and seal and a fluoroelastomer stem O-ring. Its normally open configuration keeps the valve open when pilot air is removed, while pilot air closes the valve.
Underseat flow direction helps reduce water hammer when the valve closes on liquid applications. The valve is rated for line temperatures from −10 to 180 °C (14 to 356 °F), and an integral heat sink helps dissipate heat away from the polyamide actuator during hot-water and steam service.
