Product Overview
The Dwyer HBAV0711 is a 2-way, normally closed electric ball valve with 2" female NPT connections and a floating 3-wire actuator powered by 110 VAC. It uses a bidirectional AC motor to open and close the valve according to controller commands and is designed for HVAC, heating, water treatment and production applications.
The floating control configuration allows the controller to drive the valve open or closed while the actuator holds its position between commands. Power consumption is 3 to 5 VA.
The valve is rated for a maximum pressure of 375 psi (25 bar) and an 87 psi (6 bar) close-off pressure. It handles process temperatures from −5 to 50 °C (23 to 122 °F), with an ambient operating range of −30 to 70 °C (−22 to 158 °F). Wetted materials include brass, stainless steel, NBR and PTFE.
The detachable actuator features a manual override, position switches and a visual indicator. The 90° cycle time is approximately 50 seconds, and the actuator is rated NEMA 1 (IP10).
