The DeFelsko UTGP3 pairs the PosiTector UTG P probe with the Advanced gage body. The P probe is a 15 MHz single-element delay-line transducer designed for high-resolution readings on thin materials, both metals and plastics, and its automatic Multi-Echo mode supports accuracy on thin metals. It suits inspectors checking thin walls, sheet and plastic parts from one side.
- Measuring range: 0.2–12.0 mm (0.008–0.475") on steel; 0.125–4.500 mm (0.005–0.165") on plastic
- Resolution 0.01 mm (0.001"); accuracy ±0.01 mm (±0.0004")
