The Dakota MX2-DL (MVX), part number Z-149-0006, is a corrosion thickness gauge with A-Scan and B-Scan displays for checking and interpreting each reading. It works with dual element transducers and measures both bare and coated surfaces; in echo-echo ThruPaint mode, coatings up to 2 mm are ignored.
Scan mode captures 250 readings per second and the logger stores up to 4GB of readings with their waveforms, which suits mapping pits and corroded areas.
