The DeFelsko SPG1 combines the Standard PosiTector gage body with the integral PosiTector SPG probe, a digital depth micrometer for blasted steel. It measures peak-to-valley profile from 0 – 500 µm (0 – 20 mils) and is suited to checking blast profile on flat steel before coating. Blasting contractors and coating inspectors use it to confirm surface preparation before coating.
