Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko NS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 NS probe, a regular cabled probe for non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, etc.). With the NS fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metal, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
