The DeFelsko HHDPADDLE is a 102 mm (4 in) conductive rubber paddle used with rolling spring electrodes on the PosiTest HHD to pinpoint holidays on pipe. After an alarm, the spring is moved about 3 cm (1 in) away, the paddle is held against it parallel to the pipe axis and moved around the circumference until a spark and alarm locate the flaw. Use with caution: touching the electrode can cause an electric shock.
