The DeFelsko CHKITASTM11X1 is a PosiTest CH cross hatch adhesion kit fitted with a 1 mm, 11-tooth blade for testing to ASTM D3359. This blade is specified for thin coatings from 0 to 50 µm (0–2 mils). A lattice is cut through the coating, tape is applied and removed, and the result is rated against the included classification chart.
- 1 mm spacing, 11-tooth blade for coatings 0–50 µm (0–2 mils)
- ASTM adhesive tape and 10x magnifier
- Pivoting cutting head for equal pressure across the cut
- Replaceable hardened steel blade with 4 cutting edges
- Kit includes brush, scissors, 3/32" hex key, ISO/ASTM reference chart and hard shell case
