The Dakota PMX4-DL (HPX DL+), part number Z-225-0002, is a high penetration thickness gauge for materials that are hard to get sound through because of inconsistent structure, coarse grain or sheer thickness. High voltage pulser options and filters tuned for 500 kHz to 10 MHz transducers make this possible.
Target materials include fibreglass, carbon fibre, cast metals, rubber, HDPE, FRP, lead, steels and aluminium, in parts such as pipes, storage tanks, boat hulls and conveyor belts.
