The Dakota RX8-DL (PR-8V), part number Z-158-0004, is Dakota's most advanced sonic tester for the racing industry. On top of thickness readings for cylinder walls, head ports, decks, chassis tubing, body panels and windshields, it adds a time-based B-Scan that shows the back-surface profile while a cylinder is scanned.
Data can be logged in an engine map format, and the kit includes PC engine mapping software and a transfer cable.
