The CS -1...+15 precision pressure sensor spans from -1 to +15 bar, so a single sensor covers both vacuum and normal compressed air pressure. Its accuracy is 0.5 % of full scale. The output is 4...20 mA in two-wire technology, with a supply voltage of 8...30 VDC. Because the range starts below atmospheric pressure, the same sensor can follow a line as it is evacuated and then pressurised. It can be read by CS instruments such as the PI 500, whose input accepts high- and low-pressure sensors, or by DS series chart recorders.
