The CS 1.6 is an absolute pressure sensor covering 0...1.6 bar, for applications such as ambient or low-pressure reference measurements. It works to an accuracy of 0.5 % of full scale. Like the rest of the CS standard pressure sensor range, it delivers a 4...20 mA signal over a two-wire connection and is powered with 8...30 VDC. CS lists low-pressure as well as high-pressure sensors among those accepted by its PI 500 hand-held instrument, so the CS 1.6 can be used for portable checks too.
