Class 1 Sound & Vibration Level Meter | Linear Operating Range 23 dBA RMS to 140 dBA Peak
The SV 977D is a Class 1 Sound and Vibration Meter intended for measurements of environmental noise, occupational noise, and building acoustics. The new 1/2" MK255 microphone, which has a wide frequency range starting at 3 Hz and excellent long-term stability of sensitivity, is offered by the meter as a replacement for the SVAN 977A. The built-in Bluetooth® interface on the SV 977D allows for wireless communication with smart phone applications like Building Acoustics Assistant, which expands the range of measurement options for use in buildings.
The SV 977D's ultrasonic measurement band extends up to 40 kHz, which is a special feature. The frequency range over 20 kHz is often regarded as the ultrasonic band. In addition to being utilized in hospitals for medical treatments, ultrasound is used in many industrial processes like cleaning, drilling, and welding.
