For samples heavier than water, the Brannan 10/994/0 offers a narrow 1.85 to 1.90 SG scale on a 190 mm S series body. Its 1.85–1.90 SG band is graduated in 0.002 SG steps, giving a short instrument with a fine reading. The 10/994/0 is adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C) and measures the relative density of a liquid against water on the 60/60 °F scale.
