For specific gravity readings in the 1.70 to 1.80 band, Brannan supplies the 10/951/0, a general purpose hydrometer in its M100 series. With a band of 1.70 to 1.80, it is used for liquids denser than water, giving relative density against water. At 250 mm overall, the 10/951/0 carries 0.002 SG graduations across its 1.70–1.80 span and is adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). Like the other M100 instruments, the 10/951/0 is similar to hydrometers in ISO 650 and in the now superseded 1960 issue of BS 718.
