For specific gravity readings in the 1.20 to 1.25 band, Brannan supplies the 10/928/0, a general purpose hydrometer in its M50 series. Because its scale sits at 1.20–1.25, the 10/928/0 is aimed at liquids denser than water, comparing their relative density with water. The 10/928/0 is 270 mm long, divided in 0.001 SG steps over a 0.050 SG span, and adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). The 10/928/0 design is comparable to the hydrometers in ISO 650 and the withdrawn 1960 issue of British Standard 718.
