Brannan 10/899/0 is a general purpose S series specific gravity hydrometer graduated from 0.60 to 0.65 SG, intended for liquids lighter than water. With the 0.05 SG span used across the S series, the 0.60–0.65 SG scale on the 10/899/0 is divided every 0.002. The 10/899/0 reads on the 60/60 °F specific gravity scale, comparing the sample with water at 60 °F (15.6 °C), and is 190 mm long.
