The Brannan 10/605/0 is the No 2A lactometer to BS 734, made for low density milk across 1.015 to 1.025 SG. It pairs the slimmer 19 mm bulb with 0.0005 divisions and ±0.0003 accuracy at 20 °C. Readings are in grams/ml, and the 220 mm soda glass instrument is weighted with steel shot so it floats upright in the sample.
