PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The ASCO E290D0430DA0000 is a Series 290 pneumatic angle seat valve designed for reliable on/off control in 1" (DN25) utility and process lines operating up to 6 bar.
The valve uses a normally closed configuration, so the flow path remains closed when pilot air is removed. When pilot air is supplied to the 50 mm actuator, the valve opens. Releasing the pilot pressure allows the spring to return the valve to its closed position, providing fail-closed operation.
Its bronze body is suitable for applications involving water, air, inert gases, steam and compatible light oils. The valve uses a PTFE disc seal, PTFE stuffing box and FPM wiper seal, while the AISI 431 stainless steel stem provides durable operation.

HOW TO USE / HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the valve.

2. Connect the pilot air.
Connect the G 1/8" pilot port to a suitable pneumatic control system or 3/2 solenoid pilot valve. The actuator can be rotated 360° for convenient access.
3. Apply pilot pressure.
Supply filtered pilot air or water at a minimum of 4.5 bar and maximum of 10 bar, according to the application requirements.
4. Operate the valve.
Pilot pressure lifts the disc from the seat and opens the flow path. When pilot pressure is released, the spring closes the valve.
